Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost
Task Force on Faculty Roles, Responsibilities and Rewards
Charge (Sept. 2008)
To shape, conduct and report on a comprehensive study of faculty roles, responsibilities and rewards at the University of South Florida; to develop recommendations on strategies for bringing the faculty’s academic experience, expectations and rewards more fully into alignment with the institution’s strategic plan, thereby enhancing the profile of USF faculty and academic culture and lending greater consistency with those of aspirational AAU member institutions. Progress (April 2009)
The Task Force has addressed its charge through three workgroups and has prepared set of preliminary recommendations. All members of the USF community are warmly invited to review and comment through May 5 (link opens in new window). The Task Force will need to complete its report for the Provost by May 15, 2009, so early feedback will be most helpful.
