Dr. Dwayne Smith, Senior Vice Provost

About

The Senior Vice Provost serves as the Provost's representative in all matters related to faculty development which includes recruitment, orientation, tenure and promotion; provides training and consultation to chairs and deans on faculty issues, university rules and policies; oversees program accreditation, review and development; assists the Provost in developing college targets and resource allocation process; facilitates research collaborations and operation of centers and institutes; represents academic affairs in developing and implementing the University compliance program and business systems; and serves as Acting Provost in the absence of the Provost. Dr. Smith is assisted by Associate Provost Kofi Glover who has primary responsibility for collective bargaining, faculty grievances and other personnel matters, and Associate Vice President Kathleen Moore who is responsible for academic programs and USF ECampus.
